During degree last 6 month we need to go Hong Kong for buy our final project fabric, since this already my third time for searching fabric in Hong Kong.

Before go to Hong Kong there is something I need to prepare. Because I am Chinese, If more than 7 days stay in Hong Kong then need to make my visa. It will take 5 working days. The other things I need to do is exchange Hong Kong money. For me I change s$2000 for this trip it’s around hk$11000. I don’t know is enough or not. And the last thing need to prepare is 10 sketches of photocopy. 10 sketches is not final design. Is just give me a idea to buy my fabric.

On the other hands, there are some reasons for go Hong Kong trip

REASON 1. Hong Kong is very near to Singapore; only need to fly 4 hours can arrive.

REASON 2. Fabric in Hong Kong is very nice and prices is cheaper than Singapore, there also have a lot of choose in different shops. The fabric quality in Hong Kong is better than Guang Zhou and Shen Zhen even those fabric is from there. The shops in Hong Kong know how to import the good fabrics. The important things in there have a lot of Samples fabrics are displayed for customers to choose. Sham Shui Po is the street we will go for searching fabric and the also have some not fabric shops like belt making shop, label making shop and some of shop can help you dye feather as you want. And the other important thing trip in Hong Kong people can speak English and mandarin, is very easy to communicate.

REASON 3.In Hong Kong is ranked as the 20th most fashionable city in the world and the 4th most fashionable city in Asia. It is its British heritage combined with traditionally Chinese culture that results in a unique and elegant fashion style. Just like in other major fashion cities, there are huge annual fashion shows in Hong Kong as well.

REASON 4. Shopping, food&travel

Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island: a microcosm of the entire Hong Kong shopping scene, with high-end malls, medium-priced boutiques, affordable department stores, and bargain street markets

Hong Kong Disneyland, is a theme park located on reclaimed land in Penny's Bay,

Wong Tai Sin Temple, is a popular Taoist temple dedicated to Chinese religions including Buddhism and Confucianism. He began to build the temple complex in 1921. People go there to get a prediction of their future, pray for happiness and worship the gods.
